Raw Asian Cabbage Slaw Recipe
Featured in our November issue this recipe is a great side dish for any occasion. Completely good for you and good tasting as well.
Ingredients for the salad:
1 med – large red cabbage chopped into small pieces
3 – 4 large carrots grated
4 scallions (green onions) chopped
Handful of parsley chopped
½ cup almond butter
¼ cup olive oil
¼ sesame oil
¼ cup apple cider vinegar to taste
¼ cup water or as needed to thin dressing
2 cloves garlic fine chopped
1 inch peeled fine chopped ginger
3 tbs coconut aminos (can sub with other aminos or Nama shoyu)
1 teaspoon healthy salt or to taste
Hand mix all ingredients together blending until almond butter is dissolved and thick but pourable.
Mix salad ingredients with dressing and toss until evenly coated.
